Yes, the man (or woman?) in the picture has their face disguised. But what are they actually feeling?

The dramatic blend of cold, dark and aggressive aesthetics in both the foreground and background clues us in on what the character is going through emotionally. But more importantly, it rubs off and moves us, the observer, as a result.

An emotion well conveyed stirs up those of the beholder.
